COMPANY PROFILE - POWER LINKS CONTRACTING CO. LTD. POWER LINKS CONTRACTING CO LTD (PLCC) was established as a Limited Liability Company in the second half of 2014, for providing local installation and testing services to the Electrical High Voltage power transmission sector, especially specialized in underground cable system services. However, the technical collaborators and associates of the Company has been in operation as the High Voltage Division, under the former Saudi Sponsor Al Harthi & Partners (and later on with the changed name of Spectrum Engg & Contracting Co) since the last quarter of 2012 and has successfully delivered several services sub-contract for almost all the major Main Contractors and Large International manufacturers / Contractors. This commercial entity, namely Power Links Contracting Co Ltd is a 100% Saudi Nationals owned, Limited Liability partnership Company, and is an associate of a well established group of Companies in the nearby Gulf Countries comprising of: PLQ Contracting LLC Dubai & Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Power links International Co LLC Sultanate of Oman. The Company operates under the Chairmanship of Mr Mohammed Abdullah Al Abdul Wahid with the technical collaboration and support of the other Group companies from UAE, Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain. The Powerlinks group of Companies have been growing and expanding their operations since 2007, having initially set up in Dubai UAE as PLQ Contracting LLC, and since then progressively, have established in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, & Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. |

The operations have expanded with increased manpower and equipment resources in all the territories, as a part of the ongoing expansion and re-organization of resources and level of services offered.
The new formal entity was established to enable legal operation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as per the recent changes in regulations, and has been fully equipped with all necessary tools, plant and installation equipment as well as a full complement of testing equipment.
Further, since the second half of 2014, a large majority of the experienced personnel from AARTCO (Al Abdul Rehman Trading & Contracting Co) Dammam Saudi Arabia were relieved due to their stoppage of electrical projects, and all the key equipment and personnel have been absorbed by Power Links Contracting Co Ltd. These personnel have significant experience in performing high voltage cable systems installation and testing works for over 25 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and hence their experience is also added as part of the corporate experience. The Company has also expanded into Trading activities and promoting sales of select products for which suitable Principal suppliers are being identified. For some of the International suppliers and service providers, the Company Power Links Contracting Co Ltd will act as their local agent and provide all the administrative and sales support to enhance sales of the products and services of the Principal companies. The Company has currently full time employees totaling to about 75, including technically qualified, key personnel (Senior Managers, Project Engineers, Extra High Voltage Cable jointers – duly certified by manufacturers, Testing engineers – both general and specialized for High Voltage and Partial discharge testing, technicians and administrative / management staff) and intends to expand the resources further to meet the project demands.
