POWER LINKS CONTRACTING W.L.L. has been established
as a new, Limited Liability Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain in January
2018, for providing local Installation and Testing Services to the
Electrical High Voltage Underground cable Power Transmission Sector.
Although it is a new commercial entity in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the
Partners / Shareholders of this new entity had also established, and
continue to operate similar Companies in the nearby Gulf Co-operation
Council Countries – United Arab Emirates (with offices in Dubai and Abu
Dhabi), Sultanate of Oman with Muscat city based office and in the
neighboring Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an office based in Dammam in the
Eastern Province.

The parent Company in the UAE has been in operation since 2007, and the associates in Oman and Saudi Arabia since 2010 and 2012 respectively, providing the same range of services to the High Voltage Underground Cable Transmission System to the local utilities, through the major EPC contractors in those territories.
This new commercial entity, namely Power Links Contracting W.L.L. is a partnership organization with limited liability, with 51% share-holding by a Saudi National, namely Mohammed Abdullah Al Abdulwahid, and the remaining 49% being held by three Indian National Expatriates, each of them having over 25 years of Gulf Experience in the field of high voltage power transmission sector. The Saudi National partner is the Chairman of the commercial entity operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, with technical collaboration and Operational support of the experienced Indian National partners, two of whom are primary investors.
The Power Links group of Companies have been growing and expanding their operations since 2007, having initially set up in Dubai UAE as PLQ Contracting LLC, and since then, progressively have established in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman and Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The operations have expanded with increased manpower and equipment resources in all the territories, in line with the growth of demand for specialized services in the high voltage transmission sector.
The new formal entity is established to enable legal operation within the Kingdom of Bahrain as per the local regulations, and has been fully equipped with all necessary tools, plant and installation equipment as well as a full complement of testing equipment, out of the multiple sets available in the neighboring city of Dammam in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It is intended that this dedicated set of testing equipment and specialized tools will be permanently held in the Kingdom of Bahrain to enable prompt services to be rendered as per the local needs.
The personnel who will be deputed to undertake the actual services provision in the Kingdom of Bahrain have significant experience in performing high voltage cable systems installation and testing works for over 25 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
The Company has obtained the local Regulatory document such as the Commercial Registration, and has set up an office in Tubli area. It is intended to start with a small team of about 15 to 20 people initially based on the progressive visa quotas approved by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and will primarily include key personnel such as Technical Manager, Testing and Installation Engineers and Technicians including high voltage cable jointers, duly certified by manufacturers and support assistants, and a small team of administrative staff. It is intended that the team will be expanded as per the job demands and over a period of time, planned to be within 12 months, and it is anticipated that a full complement of about 40 to 50 persons will be employed including local talent to meet the project demands.
